Dear Ms. Moryl,
The NH Commission to Assess the Operating Efficiency of State Government
was created by the passage of HB 171 during the 2003 session of the
New Hampshire General Court.
The eighteen-member commission
held it's first meeting on April 22, 2003 and released its final report
on December 9, 2003.
The advice given to our
commission by the Beacon Hill Institute was very insightful and discerning.
We undertook a momentous task and needed all the expertise we could
gamer.
Any time you bring a diverse
group together the expertise of an organization such as yours is invaluable.
I am proud and pleased to
say we stayed on task throughout the process and the information and
recommendations we were able to assemble will be very helpful for the
State of New Hampshire now and in the future.
I would recommend the Beacon
Hill Institute, without hesitation, for anyone who finds themselves
in a similar situation.
