Tuerck joins ALEC task force

David G. Tuerck, BHI executive director, has accepted an invitation to serve on the Advisory Board of the Health and Human Services Task Force of the American Legislative Exchange Council. The 200-member task force is developing model legislation that can be used by individual states as guidelines in enacting responsible reforms in health and welfare.

Tuerck will advise ALEC on developing model compassion tax credit legislation for the states. He will make a presentation on compassion tax credits at ALEC's Annual Meeting in New Orleans in August.

 

ALEC is the nation's largest bipartisan, individual membership organization, with 3,000 state legislators throughout the country.
