Announcement of BHI's Ray Shamie Center for Civic Enterprise appeared in the Patriot Ledger on October 14. Neponset Valley Daily News carried a story, “Shamie inspiration for college center,” on October 12. USA Today noted the establishment of the Shamie Center it its June 21 edition.

BHI received coverage throughout Massachusetts and New England for its opposition to raising the state's minimum wage rate. Newspapers quoting BHI included Journal Inquirer (Manchester, CT) on August 2.
